This Kampa Trip Footprint is designed to fit under the sewn-in groundsheet area of your tent, to protect it from damage by stones. It will help in keeping the base of your tent clean, and will add a layer of insulation from the ground to keep you snug along with your sleeping bags and tent carpet.

If you get to a pitch that is tight on space, the footprint is also useful, in that when you lay it down you can work out the best place to erect your tent.
